Terms of Use
1. Scope
These terms govern the use of Kerzio (the „Service"), a community database for scented candles operated by the person named in the Legal Notice. By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms.
2. Account & registration
You may create an account with a valid email address, which must be confirmed. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old.
3. User content & licence
You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, ratings, reviews, candle entries). By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display and distribute it within the Service. You warrant that you hold all necessary rights to the content — in particular, you may only upload photos you took yourself or are otherwise entitled to use.
4. Rules of conduct
You must not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, offensive, defamatory, misleading, or that constitutes spam or advertising. Submitted candles must reflect real products with accurate information. See our Community Guidelines for details.
5. Moderation & removal
Submissions (candles, photos) are reviewed before publication. We may edit, reject or remove content and suspend accounts that violate these terms, at our reasonable discretion.
6. Liability
The Service is provided „as is". Community content reflects users' personal opinions and may be inaccurate. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for user-generated content. Statutory liability for intent and gross negligence remains unaffected.
7. Changes
We may amend these terms; material changes will be announced appropriately. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
8. Applicable law
German law applies. Place of jurisdiction is the operator's registered seat, where legally permissible.
